Job Description:
POSITION
Summary:
Manages the BAAN Data Base as well as the Associated Access, Ship Constructor and Excel "Data Bases" used by MMC.
Maintains department's fiscal and commitment objectives by participating in meeting and working on projects to facilitate engineering improvement.
Works Effectively with IT, PP&C, and Purchasing to improve data and analysis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Managers program files and information Providing solutions to a wide range of technical problems involving the conventional utilization of configuration and data management techniques Providing data in support of contract data requirements list (CDRL) submittals.
Representing the Data Management function at proposal and technical briefings.
Organizing presentation material for Program Reviews Maintain ISO Standard for the Engineering Department Must abide by and enforce all organizational policies and procedures.

EDUCATION AND
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent, a minimum of 1 year office clerical experience.
Exhibits a familiarity with scanning equipment and the Microsoft Office Suite in the following order of importance: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
SKILLS: Must have in-depth knowledge/experience with management of database systems, enterprise systems (BAAN, SAP, ) Project Life Cycle Management (PLM) systems Must understand the use of various engineering specific computer applications (i.
e.
: AutoDesk, ShipConstructor, Cloudis) to collect, process and analyze data Must have ability to use standard office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
) i Must have the ability to maintain a professional demeanor.
Must have effective written and verbal communication skills.
Must have ability to maintain confidentiality.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
